What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as scripts and web beacons, when they are used to recognize activity or measure how the site is used. Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy.
Technologies used on Rinkuya
Account sessions
When an account session is created, Rinkuya uses the rinkuya.sid cookie to maintain that session. It is configured as HttpOnly and SameSite Strict, is Secure in production, and has a maximum age of 24 hours. Blocking it can prevent sign-in or other session-based features from working.
Affiliate link tracking and attribution
Rinkuya connects advertisers with publishers through affiliate links. Those links may include identifiers for a publisher, advertiser, or campaign. Depending on the campaign and integration, cookies or similar identifiers may help associate a referral click or interaction with a later qualifying action, support performance reporting, validate commissions, and help detect suspicious activity. Rinkuya's platform supports cookie-based, server-side, and other attribution methods, including browser/device fingerprinting where configured. The methods used and the attribution period can vary by campaign; there is no single cookie lifetime that applies to every advertiser or link.
Information and storage periods
Depending on the feature or campaign, information associated with cookies and similar technologies may include browser or device details, IP address, referring page, session activity, affiliate link or campaign identifiers, and related interaction or conversion events.
- The account-session cookie is configured to remain valid for up to 24 hours.
- Affiliate attribution technologies may use different storage periods. Advertiser campaign configuration, browser controls, and the technology used can affect how long identifiers remain available.
Third-party services
When you follow an affiliate link, the advertiser or a campaign measurement provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies on its site. Those third parties handle information under their own privacy and cookie notices; Rinkuya does not control cookies set by an advertiser's website.
Managing cookies
You can use your browser settings to review, block, or delete cookies. Rinkuya does not currently provide a separate in-product cookie preference panel. Blocking or deleting the account-session cookie may sign you out or prevent account features from working. Blocking affiliate cookies or similar browser storage may affect referral attribution and reporting. Browser controls may not control server-side events or remove information that a third party has already processed.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. For questions, contact support@rinkuya.com. For more information about personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
